There has been soooo much activity in the kitchen the last couple of weeks! Sweet, and savoury! Cherry pie, cannolis, mint chip ice cream, fettuccine Alfredo, arancini. And cheese!!! Chatham-Kent is an agricultural wonder. Thousands of farms growing the traditional cash crops, and a great variety of fruit as well. And it’s strawberry season! Scott’s Strawberry Farm south of Highgate has beautiful berries. Going to make some jam, and freeze some for later.

I planted my garden! It’s bigger than I had originally anticipated, but my cousin worked up some land for me, so I had better make good use of it! Planting took longer than expected.
