I planted my garden! It’s bigger than I had originally anticipated, but my cousin worked up some land for me, so I had better make good use of it! Planting took longer than expected. I’m not sure if I’m cut out for the manual labour.
I also am getting back into the commercial baking. Urban Sunset Farms is adding some of my baked goods to their online store! This is so exciting!
And, it’s rhubarb season! I. LOVE. RHUBARB. It’s my most favourite thing in the world. I’m hoping to establish a patch on the farm. For the time being, I have a cousin with a legendary patch, and she is very generous with it. I made jam, poached rhubarb, and froze a bunch. I’ll have rhubarb all winter long!
