Nobody buys baked goods in the New Year. Everyone vows to eat better, work out, cut out the sugar. Not the best time of year for a baker. Need to start planning for what’s next.
On the bright side, I signed up for the local Community Supported Agriculture (“CSA”) farm, Urban Sunset Farms. If you haven’t heard of CSA farms, you buy a membership at the beginning of the season, and then you can get your produce from the farm all season long. I had heard about them last year, but they had a wait list. I got in early this year! Can’t wait for the farm fresh veggies! I’m going to try my hand at having my first proper garden in over 30 years, but it’s good to have a backup.
